Terms of Enrollment

These terms apply to all enrollments with Beyond Young Academy ("BY Academy," "we," "us") for fall classes, summer camp, and other programs. By completing enrollment you agree to these terms on behalf of your family.
Enrollment
Enrollment is confirmed when your payment is received and processed. Seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A registration fee applies once per school year per family for fall classes (new family: $100; returning family: $50).
Tuition and Payment Plans
Tuition is quoted per program on our website and is subject to change for new enrollments. Once you enroll, your quoted tuition rate is locked for that term.
We offer two payment options for fall classes:
- Monthly installment plan β a deposit due at enrollment, followed by equal monthly auto-debits on the 1st of each month through the school year (the number of monthly payments depends on the enrollment date). The registration fee is included in the deposit charge.
- One-time payment (select programs) β full amount due at enrollment.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. A processing fee applies: 3% for card payments; a flat fee for ACH bank transfers.
A multi-class discount applies when you enroll two or more fall classes: 5% off for 2 classes, 10% off for 3, and 15% off for 4 or more (applied to class tuition, not to bus or registration fees).
Tryout Class
A $35 tryout class is available for any program. The $35 tryout fee credits toward your first month's tuition if you enroll in that program within the same school year.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Enrolling your child in a class is a commitment for the full school year, and tuition is non-refundable. Please read this section before you enroll.
- Full-year enrollment. Registering for a class enrolls your child for that class for the whole school year. The monthly payment plan is a way to spread the cost β it is not a shorter commitment, and it does not make the enrollment month-to-month.
- No refunds. Tuition paid is not refunded, in whole or in part, at any point in the year β including if a student withdraws, moves away, has a schedule conflict, or stops attending.
- Registration and bus fees are non-refundable once the school year begins.
- Written notice. If your child will stop attending, please tell us in writing (email to beyondyoungnj@gmail.com is fine) so we can release the seat and update our records. Notice stops future scheduled payments where we agree to it in writing; it does not refund tuition already paid.
- Missed sessions are handled through our make-up policy below, not through refunds or credits.
If BY Academy cancels a class outright β for insufficient enrollment or another reason on our side β we will place your child in another suitable class or refund the tuition for the sessions we cannot provide. Individual sessions we cancel for weather, facility, or staffing reasons are made up or the schedule is extended; these do not count against your monthly make-ups.
Attendance and Make-Ups
Tell us before class begins and a missed session can be made up β either the same class in a different time slot that week, or a different class with an open seat within the same calendar month. Make-ups are valid within the same calendar month, are limited to 2 per class per month, and must be booked in advance with the front desk, subject to space.
Make-ups carry no cash value, cannot be applied against tuition, are not transferable, and are not grounds for a refund. Full details are in our Make-Up Sessions policy and the Leave & Make-Up Class Agreement (English / δΈζ).
School Bus
The school bus service is a year-round, one-time transport add-on. Bus fees are charged in full at enrollment as part of the deposit and are non-refundable once the school year begins. Routing is assigned by BY Academy; a school and preferred days are requested at enrollment but are subject to capacity and routing constraints.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to a warm, safe, and respectful learning environment for every child. We expect:
- Respectful behavior toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
- Timely arrival and pick-up (notify us if you will be late).
- Disclosure of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at enrollment so we can best support your child.
BY Academy reserves the right to remove a student from a program without refund if their behavior is disruptive or unsafe, following reasonable notice to the family where circumstances allow.
Photography and Media
We may photograph or film students during programs for use in our marketing materials and website. You may opt in or out at enrollment; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Liability
BY Academy takes reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of all students during our programs. Parents and guardians acknowledge that participation in arts, academic, and physical activities involves inherent risk, and agree not to hold BY Academy liable for minor injuries resulting from normal program activities.
BY Academy is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property brought to our facility.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify enrolled families of material changes by email. Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
