Terms of Enrollment

These terms apply to all enrollments with Beyond Young Academy ("BY Academy," "we," "us") for fall classes, summer camp, and other programs. By completing enrollment you agree to these terms on behalf of your family.

Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed when your payment is received and processed. Seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A registration fee applies once per school year per family for fall classes (new family: $100; returning family: $50).

Tuition and Payment Plans

Tuition is quoted per program on our website and is subject to change for new enrollments. Once you enroll, your quoted tuition rate is locked for that term.

We offer two payment options for fall classes:

• Monthly installment plan — a one-month deposit due at enrollment, followed by nine equal monthly auto-debits on the 1st of each month. The registration fee is included in the deposit charge.
• One-time payment (select programs) — full amount due at enrollment.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. A processing fee applies: 3% for card payments; a flat fee for ACH bank transfers.

A multi-class discount applies when you enroll two or more fall classes: 5% off for 2 classes, 10% off for 3, and 15% off for 4 or more (applied to class tuition, not to bus or registration fees).

Tryout Class

A $35 tryout class is available for any program. The $35 tryout fee credits toward your first month's tuition if you enroll in that program within the same school year.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

To withdraw your child from a program, written notice is required (email to beyondyoungnj@gmail.com is acceptable).

• Within the first 2 weeks of the program start: full refund of tuition paid, less a $50 administrative fee. The registration fee is non-refundable.
• After 2 weeks and with 2 weeks' written notice: a pro-rated refund for the remaining term, calculated from the date the notice is received.
• Less than 2 weeks' notice: no refund for the current billing period; refund of remaining future months (if on a monthly plan) upon receipt of notice.
• Monthly installment auto-debits will be cancelled upon confirmed withdrawal; any already-billed period is non-refundable.

We reserve the right to cancel a class or session due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances, in which case a full pro-rated refund will be issued for the cancelled sessions.

Attendance and Make-Ups

One make-up session per term is included for missed classes due to student illness or family emergency (with advance notice). Make-ups are scheduled based on availability. Make-up sessions do not carry over between terms.

We do not offer refunds or credits for missed sessions beyond the included make-up.

School Bus

The school bus service is a year-round, one-time transport add-on. Bus fees are charged in full at enrollment as part of the deposit and are non-refundable once the school year begins. Routing is assigned by BY Academy; a school and preferred days are requested at enrollment but are subject to capacity and routing constraints.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to a warm, safe, and respectful learning environment for every child. We expect:

• Respectful behavior toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
• Timely arrival and pick-up (notify us if you will be late).
• Disclosure of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at enrollment so we can best support your child.

BY Academy reserves the right to remove a student from a program without refund if their behavior is disruptive or unsafe, following reasonable notice to the family where circumstances allow.

Photography and Media

We may photograph or film students during programs for use in our marketing materials and website. You may opt in or out at enrollment; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Liability

BY Academy takes reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of all students during our programs. Parents and guardians acknowledge that participation in arts, academic, and physical activities involves inherent risk, and agree not to hold BY Academy liable for minor injuries resulting from normal program activities.

BY Academy is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property brought to our facility.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify enrolled families of material changes by email. Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
